These rules apply of all active participants of the tournament.
You are not allowed to utilize any exploit, bug, or cheat which gives you an unfair advantage. An exploit is defined as any sort of unintentional mechanic or bug which results in a favorable advantage, not in the spirit of the game.
An example of this would be the "Help Wanted" exploit, which allows you to place a stack of required items in a chest, and removing them one-by-one to count towards the quest requirement for mining/fishing fresh items.
Along with no exploitation, you are not allowed to cheat. This includes modifying the save files or game to provide an unfair advantage.
You must have a vanilla install of the game before starting the tournament. If you have any mods (both passive mods which only affect visual and active ones which change mechanics), please uninstall them before starting.
While participating in the event, you are required to stream gameplay. The tournament launcher will automatically detect whether or not you're live.
If any participant breaks any of these rules, we may issue consequences ranging from a point penalty, to disqualification of the tournament.
The points system is the overall goal of the tournament. The person who accrues the most points within the 7 day timespan wins the tournament. Points are accounted for the moment you go to sleep and save the game. Below is a list of how you can accrue points in the tournament.
1 Friend Heart (250 friendship points) - +25 points
